Up for auction today is a 1989 Rolling stones Steel Wheels Press guide, just given out only to the pressboxes. I knew a friend who worked for the local newspaper here in Philadelphia. The 1989 Rolling Stones was the first tour since 1981, all together as a band. Last tour for bassist Bill Wyman. This was the first show of the tour, we took off work that day and tailgated most of the day, Living Colour opened up for them. I never saw another one on E Bay, don’t even know if these were given away to any other shows of the tour. Included in the folder is actual press release with 3 page by Budweiser , black and white glossy pic of the band, 5 page fact sheet, 3 page for immediate release, 28 pages of biography, 2 page tour dates and my actual ticket stub. .
