Vintage Baby Album Book scrapbook UNUSED moire fabric Gibson 1957

Description

Up for bid is a great vintage baby album found at a recent southern estate sale. This is an unused album that is beautiful. It is done in a pale yellow moire fabric. Moire fabric has a water stained appearance that is quite lovely. On the front is a hand painted bouquet of flowers with rosebuds scattered over the front. It measures 9 by 11 inches. This was done in 1957 by Gibson. The pages are gold edged. Inside there are 45 pages to document babys life events from age one to seen!  Lovely illustrations, both is color and a grey tone. Colors are bright and not faded. Fabric is great condition. Corners of pages are not bumped. This did not come with a box and is in amazing condition considering it had no protection all these years.
