    Description

    Compiled by Evelyn Wheeler of Washington, PA. in 1922 and 1923, this photo album contains hundreds of images, many of them with captions identifying the subjects, of her friends and family members, as well as some images of the town and countryside as it appeared almost 100 years ago.  It is a wonderful chronicle, in photographs, of a 1920's American small town and its young people.  The album has some wear and many of the photos were glued onto the pages.  There are over a dozen loose photographs in the back of the album.
